Don't be a machine hog. Don't start a 4-player game if it's just one person playing. Look over your shoulder to see if others want in after your game is done and play on if nobody is behind you. If waiting in line, just politely let the player know that you want in after they are done after their ball drains, not during their play. Pretty simple stuff that many forget.
