Tip needed on how to apply pop bumper mylar ring

    Lots of good advice earlier on how to apply the mylar rings.

    I agree that the perception may change once you have the playfield populated and especially the pop bumpers installed. You may be able to improve the appearance of the whole thing depending on what exactly bothers you. For instance, if what bothers you are the look of the mylar at the fin shank screws, you could cut out some small circles where the fin shank screws go. Or recut the circles so they clear the holes. But it will take some new rings and some cutting. On the other hand, it looks like you have some nice clear coat so you may not need the mylar at all. If the game stays in your home and you make sure your balls are in good shape, your shouldn't get much wear.
