I get it that LEDs on EM machines isn’t for everyone. On a machine like this, they really bring it back to life.
Colored LED's can be used to compliment an EM and I think Space Time/Time Zone is a great example.
I also use a blue and red LED under the ball gates as they compliment the playfield colors.
I also use the two headed warm white 1SMD's in the backbox to better light up the artwork when the time tunnel is running. The stems allow you to position them to get better backlighting over a larger given area.

I found/find the LEDS overwhelming. Like lasers to the retina. I used colored 44's and it looked great! I try to incorporate LED's in all of my games, but mostly under the playfield inserts.
