just picked up a time warp pin. with no head unit. but play field looks great but case is beat up. I have never seen this game before don't know if I should part it out or try to find the pieces for it. im new to this love pinball but I have a few arcade games now want pinball machines im learning as I go.

#2 7 years ago

Fun game, try to find the parts. Surely something out there.

#3 7 years ago

Uff that's weird one due to banana flippers

#4 7 years ago

paid 20 bucks for it

#5 7 years ago

Can't go wrong then either way. Hang on to it and look or part it out and make a little.....

#6 7 years ago

You should be able to find used boards rather easily, or just buy brand new ones. As long as you've got the wiring, it should be pretty simple. Plus, old cabs/heads turn up pretty regularly, if you wait.

If you decide to part it out, I'd be interested in the pf, but would much rather see you bring it back to life.

#7 7 years ago

ok ill keep it. just found fire power gonna pick that up on the way home

#8 7 years ago

i just picked one up. I think its a really fun game.

I would buy the PF also if you wanted to part it out.

#9 7 years ago

FIRE POWER OR TIME WARP?

#10 7 years ago

I WILL SELL THE PLAY FIELD FOR TIME WARP

Post some pics.

Those playfields are normally super trashed.

#12 7 years ago

I've got a good cabinet and decent backglass and crappy playfield on my Time Warp. I'd be curious to see the pics of Steve's.

Also would you mind sharing the color of the top lane separators? I have both purple and a dark blue. I have no idea which ones are the standard/stock color. I would like them to match. all my posts are purple so i would assume purple is the original color.

ill post pics in the morning

#15 7 years ago

interested if parting out. PM me.

They were blue originally, but faded to a purple color.

Including the all the PF Posts?

#18 7 years ago

There should be some unfaded blue posts under the playfield holding up the pyramid lighting plate.

I know the game was designed for Bananas but I find it plays a lot better with regular bats.

They made a billion of those things, and near the end, you could order them with regular bats or curved bats.

When our distributor had their final close out sale (@$799), only the regular bat versions were left because no one wanted them.

And maybe some flipper bushings, and.....

Looks better than most, all joking aside.

The banana flippers on my Time Warp lasted a few hours at best. Regular all the way for me.

The regulars won't do the roundhouse spin trick where the ball knocks all the targets down in a single loop.

I like the challenge of having something different vs just another Italian Bottom game.

But it's a quick fix for whoever you sell it to to put back right.

Do you have the ROMs that fix the sound bug?

#27 7 years ago

I do have the ROMs that fix the background sound outhole bug, but the new ROMs introduce a scoring bug. Some of the pop bumpers score wrong by a factor of 10. Pick your poison on which is worse. I don't like the background sound in that game, so i have it turned off and run the normal software.

I will send you an email with them.
