So... you want this to be Facebook?
Without DOWN VOTES... People will say whatever they want and will never know if they pissed someone off. I need down votes to keep me in check when I am drunk and stupid lol. Or to let someone know I disagree with them... We need the down votes to keep this place clean. It's the only way you can slap someone in the face for being bad.
I also think you should be able to down vote yourself. So you can tell people you are aware you are being an asshole. lol
