I'm not going to the the sacrificial frozen Totino's Pizza again. But, someone needs to say something to get this thread closed. Any volunteers? In the meantime, get hungry...
I've never been a fan of the +1, thumbs up, or thumbs down in any context. It's better if people are forced to put their opinion into words. This is a forum after all.
I had my say, a moderator quickly replied
What more could I ask for?
I am today's amusement, tomorrow they will find some one new to poke
Honestly for me I never pay attention to that stuff, infact I had to scroll over it to see what you guys were talking about. Personally I'd just get rid of it all together as its just something more to debate about and in the end it doesn't mean anything....just like the karma points, which I just now noticed those too are gone. Keep it simple.

If one is really that sensitive that a down vote hurts their feelings, they don't need to be on the internet.
My guess is the only reason Robin and crew have the up/down vote is to eliminate some posts. If a poster can just click the up/down to voice their agreement/disagreement with a posting, this probably eliminated some extra posts.
I agree with Dayhuff. Just seems to add to more debate and disharmony.
The opinions will be expressed - no matter what. The up/down vote helps reduce the noise it takes to express that; the noise it takes to read through it. Not perfectly; but it does put a dent in it. I'm a fan, simply due to what would happen otherwise...
