Its here again! Hurricane season!

That means for those unaffected, dive back in to your Whirlwind and Hurricane Pins!
In fact, Ive played very little on either, so please do share what would like like a review of a new Pin.
Whats the Best Shot? Favorite mode or Sequence? Tweaks to your games.

For others on the Coast, its time to buckle down. Im of course nervous, and dont discount this hurricane turning in any direction. Hell, Im still living in a plastic room, rebuilding still from last year! A year of Hell!

Lets help our fellow Pinsiders in any way we can...

For this, I picked up this generator, and wanted to share. I cant say its the Best, or the Cheapest, just that it fit my needs.

(was $249 yesterday....https://www.homedepot.com/p/Champion-Power-Equipment-3550-Watt-Gasoline-Powered-Recoil-Start-Portable-Generator-with-Champion-224cc-Engine-100406/303264883)

Any other Suggestions to share fellow Pinheads with regard to the Hurricane coming?

Best Wishes for All!

Head for the cellar! Sorry to hear you're still cleaning up from the last Art. Great advice on the generator; really good to have one now rather than wait until it's too late. After redoing our basement, I did a Watchdog sump pump system with a battery back up. We also have a 6500 watt portable gen that I backfeed the gararge into the house when needed. They have both been extremely helpful in having them.

And working on my own Whirlwind playfield now!

My neighbor went so far as to put a permanent whole house generator for 5K...
I only worry about maintenance, if this sits.

Do we have anyone on the Carolina Coastlines getting antsy?

What makes Hurricane a great Pin? I have no idea, never played more than 2-4 games.

I used to have Hurricane. It is not a great pin, it's just...fine.

Amazing art by Python Anghelo but shallow rules and limited number of shots.

I had one also and could not wait to get rid of it. I picked one up because I loved the way it looked but the play was so not that good.

Fortunately WW is a better game.

Good to know!

Anyone have a Hurricane that might get hit with the Hurricane?
(or did any of our fellow pinsiders in Hawaii, have a Volcano....)

I wont ask about Earthshakers in CA!

I might get a touch if the hurricane if it comes inland. I also own a Hurricane.

It's a *good* game, it just has one of the most unfortunate placements of pop bumpers in pinball. The only way to hit them on purpose is to nail a lock shot. Otherwise it's an accident. If there were only another path to them the game would be a lot more fun. It's a relaxing game and the big swooping shots are satisfying. Neat toys, too.

"Whirlwind" is a tornado themed game. I know it's a fine distinction, but they're completely different destructive meteorological events. Godspeed to all of you in the path of this coming monster. The flooding that's predicted to likely occur is very scary. Protect yourselves, and hopefully get your pins out of harm's way.
