I was there in July, 2014. Talked to Tim for awhile about a lot of different things pinball related. I could tell that he really wanted to continue to work on the machine that he was repairing, but when he realized that I really appreciated all of his efforts he was a little excited to open up and share a little with me. I was even able to have my wife snap a picture of me with him.
When you go to the PHOF with the right frame of mind and you understand what the goals are, then you can spend a lot of time there and have a blast!
Go there thinking that it's this mecca of pinball heaveness and that the Almighty Himself operates it, and you are going to leave there sad and helpless.
My tips for your trip:
1. Go there
2. If it works, play it.
3. Play as many different machines as you can.
4. Thank him.
If you can't or won't do steps 1-4, then STFU and go about the rest of your day. IMG_20140707_222712.jpg
