Sad. I've been going for years and love PHOF. I've defended and praised Tim for years on Pinside and appreciate everything he's done for pinball.

That being said, I just got back from PHOF and left saddened. So many machines in disrepair. Some of the pins that weren't turned off had issues. Even newer machines like WNBJM had an issue with the scoring reel. Tim wasn't there; hopefully he was getting some rest.

I left after 30 minutes and went back to New York, New York for my pin fix.

    Quoted from jsyjay:

The pins in NYNY on the other hand were mint. Two out of the three times I was in there playing the tech was adjusting and testing each pin in turn.

Not to sound like a broken record, but this can't be said enough. Just got back from spending 5 nights at NYNY and logged in about 80 games on the pins. Every one played like a dream. Every mod you can think of. I'm now hooked on GOT.

My visit to PHOF just made me sad.

    Quoted from vid1900:

    Yawn.
C'mon, you've got to have some fire in your belly if you think you can fill Tim's shoes.

    Oh, please.

Go to various locations and check out the immaculate condition of ExtremePinball's games.

Then go to PHOF and try to play the sluggish pins that aren't turned off. No comparison.

Tim has always been kind to me....I mostly throw a sentence at him to check his mood.

"Hey Tim... Any chance of getting T-shirts or other merch?" got me a nice 5 minute conversation the last time I saw him.
