    Quoted from vid1900:

Remember folks, the ONLY thing that makes the PHOF the PHOF is Tim.
Anyone can buy 300 pinball machines, put them in a crappy warehouse off the beaten path, and open an arcade.
But only Tim can do it and have a million dollars surplus at the end of the year to give to charity.
No one else in history has ever been able to pull it off successfully.
    No one.

I dunno, I have no idea who Tim is. I've never met the guy, seen the guy or known what he does with the money he makes. I actually had no idea he had a warehouse out back filled with pins either. First time I saw his picture was in this thread.

So while I think PHOF is because of Tim, I don't think he is the reason people go there at all. I've talked with countless people around here who have been there and have never seen or met him. They just went in, played some games and had a good time.

I would only be sad if the place disappeared as Vegas is a cheap trip for us Canadians and a quick bus ride to PHOF. They are in much much better condition than the games SML runs around the airports and stuff here. I cringe when I see their routed games for sale in store. Last time I saw an earthshaker with a pretty mangled playfield, only $4,500... yikes. Anyways I'm getting off topic.
