There's a Three Stooges short (Three Little Pirates) where Larry sees a pinball machine in a pirates' den and says, "Look! A game of skill!" Best. Tilt. Ever.

There's another episode I remember but can't find any reference to...
Larry, Moe, and Curly find a pinball machine and play a ball. Total house ball, no points or bounces. Moe gets a little mad at Curly but tells him to try again. Curly does and obviously hits some good targets because the machine freaks out and finally ejects the pinball which bounces off of Curly's head.
