Adds up now because there was mention in the past of artwork input from Europe.

Quoted from swinks:

inreference To the secrets I mean the playfield design, programming, music as he claims people want to remain anonymous
And years ago he Mike did say his son did art for Disney and he was going to do it

I think the narrative changes for Homepin depending upon who his audience is.

Originally touting it as true blue 100% Australian designed machine using family members on a parochial forum like AussieArcade would have been used as a selling point to gain preorder money and since the membership over there simply accept everything they are fed at face value from the higher ups it would never have been thought/dared to be questioned.

Those who ignore history are condemned to relive it.

2015: Preorders who paid in 2013 will receive their machines first. This is a screengrab from the local forum Aussiepinball in March 2015 as a response to one of the faithful when the machines were only "weeks away" from completion.

2018: Now shipping the first off the line to Canada. Obviously in need of a fresh cash injection to keep the lights on.

No doubt there are a few Aussies who are now reaping the whirlwind for their unquestioning blind faith from years past despite being shown and told repeatedly by sceptics about the warning signs.

"We will make replacements parts available for the lifetime of the machine" was one of the express terms in the original preorder contract from memory.

But then again so was the contractual representation that machines will ship by June 2015 so take them both for what it is worth.

Time to get the blue pencil out again. LOL.

I think you guys have the wrong thread.

Not at all. The recent information posted in this thread has clearly been read here by an Aussie preorder purchaser and subsequently copied over to the main thread this morning to validate his grievance.

Fortunately I archived the original Homepin threads in their entirety quite some time ago from the local Aussie forums before they got deleted/hidden from public view.

As long as the info gets disseminated to aid preorder buyers the method is irrelevant.

Quoted from hassanchop:

Grant (Mike's son) did the cabinet head art. When I joined in I made all the rest.

It will be interesting to see how the rest of the artwork gets scrutinised in the flesh now that the originally advertised electroluminescent headbox artwork panels have been removed from all machines.
