This may have been requested in the past (didn't see it) or I may be the only one interested in this feature. However, there are a number of posters who have a passion in a given topic that soon devolves into an obsession. That obsession manifests itself in an almost continuous drone of repeating the same stuff over and over again. Since the poster may have worthy input in other threads, I don't want to put him or her on ignore and lose all of his or her commentary. So I'm stuck trying to skip over the drivel. Having the ability to ignore a poster for a given thread would solve this problem.

There is a new "hide post" feature. Simply click the icon on the bottom left of someone's post which looks like a waste basket.

Granted, it doesn't automatically hide future posts, but it might help a little.

Thanks, maybe a tad; however, it really doesn't go to the heart of the matter. It really is a shame that we have this situation (I recognize that you, i.e., the moderators, feel then pain more than I).
