I like my WPT, I can't see it going anywhere soon. Assuming they were equal prices, I would still pick it over a TSPP. At half the price... no brainer.
Art package isn't the best (and that's being charitable...) but the modes are fun/challenging, lots of strategy... and greedily setting up a 3x multiplier with an opportunity for a big payoff is fun, whether you make or blow the shot

What budget issues do you see other than art? Deep rules, tonnes of mechanisms (big LCD display under playfield, playable upper playfield, a billion drop targets, metal ramps and wireforms... four flippers!). If this screams budget to you, you must be comparing it to WoZ
If you can find a WoZ for the going rate of a WPT... then jump on it.
