Quoted from Yelobird:

I think Every dream wish in this thread is possible Except your price lol.

Quoted from NashtyFunk:

There's zero chance that Sterns topper will be under $400. I think they've been testing the top of that market with TMNT and LZ. It'll likely be $650-$900 and there's a chance they go bigger and make it a $1k topper like TMNT.

Ordered through our distributor at the same time we got the LE - was told this will be $1000, no word on what the topper is, no word on limited status.

At the least, I believe this is to be a topper with movement (placeholder in software, see my earlier post about this).

Our distributor said the topper is months away.

Anyone brave enough to hook up a node board 12 and see what settings may be revealed? (assuming the topper is designed and coded)

Quoted from Peanuts:

Holopuck, for the real Bounty Hunters!

Not impossible if the motor controls referenced in the settings actually refers to something like the "holographic" fans or maybe something simple that resembles a large inverted pyramid, projecting upward into it could also simulate holographic video.

This would be awesome: https://lookingglassfactory.com/product/portrait - just make it 9" tall and 16" wide.

Is this fact or your speculation?

If you go way back to release, I found some settings for the topper and they are (we're) identical to SW R2D2 settings (so there is likely a motor) and settings were noticably different from maiden, AIQ, JP topper settings - so hopefully more than just flashing/fading light shows.

I'd imagine it will be similar to the BK topper. Since CCr has an interactive topper, this will probably be interactive to gameplay in some fashion. I hope it is not a locked mode like AIQ, JP.

Worth every, single penny.

I think this is priced just right to prevent flipping.

The sad part is that it is also priced just right to give me pause about buying 2 (due to fear of parts shortages we've tended to double up on everything - already paid off in spades not having to wait for a node board).

Where do you order?

For now, your local distributor. A limited time at stern.com and probably the same for cointaker and littleshopofgames to name a few places.

Odds are, these are limited and allotments will be small to distributors (I cannot say for sure but I'd guess it they at least made one for every LE).

Quoted from Rooniedoodle:

Ordered. And it’s landing in New Zealand for 4500 NZD. Surgery scheduled for tomorrow to remove kidney and to have it sold to pay for topper.
Worth the pain!

It's why the good Lord gave you two kidneys.
