Judging by my experience at TPF this year (my second ever show, and the first was almost 20 years ago): They could make sure there's enough power at the venue, and if not, bring in a portable generator. Looking at the local Sunbelt Rentals, it seems that one could get a 40kW unit (that should supply 75-100 pins easily) for less than $300/day. For a show as big as TPF, that should totally be doable.

My only other issue was the sheer decibels inside, but that's easily mitigated with hearing protection.
