Quoted from J85M:

PinMonk any chance you have done any testing on Mando yet Vic? I am positive that there is fade after a good 30/40mins of constant play the left ramp just seems harder and harder to make.

I had an owner test it, and there is fade. I rated it as moderate overall (severe on one, mild on the other), and it seems to be most evident on the left flipper with a peak temp of 168F, but the right has it as well, to a lesser extent.

I updated the chart on the product page. Thanks for the reminder!

Quoted from cooked71:

Holy cr*p…..I didn’t think it was possible Stern could use a louder fan in their power supplies. But they’ve managed to find one for Mandolorian. They’ve always been bad, but this is like a 747 taking off.
PinMonk ….order incoming.
Speaking of, how’s the heating of these Mando flipper coils?

Yeah, I keep waiting for the new power supply or existing power supply with a quieter fan in it like Gomez said was coming pre-pandemic, and they keep shipping with the same unchanged meanwell power supply with a super-loud fan.

Thanks for the order. It will definitely solve that problem for you!

There's a chart on the Tibetan Breeze product page that shows temperatures for all the pins that have had the temp measured over time. 60-120 minutes, depending on the pin. Earlier ones I was only testing for 60 minutes, but now 90-120 min tests are pretty normal, but that means there's a mix of play times on the chart (which are called out). Mandalorian definitely has fade, but like LZ and Godzilla, it takes longer to come on than something like Stranger Things or jjGnR. So if you're playing mostly shorter sessions, you don't need active cooling of the flipper coils on it. But if you play longer sessions or have parties, etc where the game is played for a long period of time by one person after another, then yeah, it will definitely benefit the machine to have the active cooling of a Tibetan Breeze kit.

Quoted from huo:

Ive been having issues selling my mando prem. I think its a fun game and it seems like others do too. Is the demand in general down or just this game?

For MI area you might be priced a couple hundred high. I'm west coast where prices are generally inflated and have one with 21 plays for $7500.

Quoted from crujones4life:

Damn that's a $1300-$1500 loss...I'd hold onto for awhile. Maybe wait for the next price increase.

If you can hold, that's a good idea. I bring pins in (often/usually NIB), do the mods and testing and move them out, so sometimes I take a loss just to keep things moving. I can't let them pile up because new pins are always coming. Upside is buying at $7500, you're pretty much going to have a free rental or make a little if you sell it in a year.

PSA...Hallmark Mandalorian ornament is on sale at JCPenney for $8.99 at the moment. I saw it in-store, but may be online, too.

Quoted from TroyS:

that looks to be the right size too. I will look online, have not seen a JCPenny in a long time. I actually had to read that twice.

Yeah, I was going in to do an online pickup for my wife and kept thinking what a relic that whole store format is.
