So now I’ve fixed my right ramp issues (adjusted the Luke slingshot, as it was interfering with the backhand shot), this baby shoots so smooth
The flow is better than any game I’ve ever played, the shots are closer to the flippers than I’m used too, but now that I’ve dialed it in, Brian Eddy is truly one of the best (if not the best) pinball designers ever

Quoted from crujones4life:What did you do to adjust the slingshot?
Pretty easy, I cut a nylon washer in half and placed it under the lowest post on the Luke slingshot
In doing so, I’ve angled the post (think leaning tower of Pisa) with a slight lean to the right
Now I can cradle the ball and comfortably backhand the right hand ramp
Interestingly, I’ve never had a problem backhanding the big left hand ramp
So I’ve reduced default slingshot strength from 32 to 20 and whamo, first game I reached missions wizard mode for the first time ever!
No more nasty cheap outlane drains from super powerful slingshots
Quoted from DaddyManD:Mine is 6.5 and shoots really well now. I started enjoying the game more now that I realized right ramp and u-turn shots must be backhanded and scoop on left side. Backhanding is so key for Mando. It makes the game a little less approachable for newbies who visit us and really want to play Mando but get frustrated they can't make any shots other than Razor crest.
Yep, Mando is designed for backhand play
Getting the right ramp nailed is critical, I’ve replaced the bottom star post under the Luke slingshot with a narrow post (this gives the ball enough clearance) and backhanding the right ramp is now smooth and easy
I’ve played my friends Mando and everything was perfect on his, no mods or adjustments required, I guess it’s just a variable with pinball
Also my left ramp shoots easily from a backhand, no adjustments required
Really a fun game when everything is working at it should
