Anyone have any updates on the stern accessories? I'm patiently awaiting the art blades and shooter rod to start shipping, haven't heard anything if they have been pushed back from August.......

My Deadpool blades were ordered early April. I was told they were backordered until June......
Quoted from jaycbarnett:Quick question to Prem/LE folks.
The scoop makes a buzzing noise when it's "engaged", it was so loud it could be heard over in the middle of play and I have the machine pretty loud. With the glass off, I rolled the ball through the loop and the buzz could be felt on the top of the mech.
I messed with the Up/Down Scoop hold power setting, trying values above and below. I would seem to quiet down and then come back, so I was thinking it was mechanical somehow. I looked under the playfield to make sure the mech looked like the drawing in the manual and all the sleeves/washers/springs were in the correct place. Hmmm...
Anyway, just set it back to default setting, and last night it quieted down on it's own. It's still there a little bit, but not audible over the game in play. Not heard back from Pablo on my email, just wondering if anyone else had this.
Hey, I had this also and got with my distributor who reached out to Pablo. Pablo got engineering involved and found that the bracket below the playfield can be bent slightly and to make a slight bend to it. I did that and there is ZERO noise. Would suggest trying it as well to not wear out that coil...is that possible?
Mandalorian Fix (resized).pngSo Stern is sending me a warranty replacement for the left ramp. They are claiming they are looking into any other causes for the ramp cracking but believe it was "an issue with the way the ramp was originally assembled on production"

My distributor said he would Put in for a replacement this past Friday. The last part replacement took about two weeks so hopefully I will get it before then. My ramp broke in the same place

Good to hear the confirmation of what has been said from the start and people can be at peace as long as their guide is flush and supported.
Quoted from Schaitas:No problem... I think if you are buying Premiums it is a very tough call ... if you are buying the Pro version I would have to go with DP. (DP Pro does not lose anything in terms of gameplay / satisfying shots, but Mando Premium is significantly better than the Pro IMO)
Have you ever played a DP Premium?
Drop targets,

8 extra drop targets and even an extra ramp make it a much better game then the Pro.

DP Prem is more fun then DP Pro.
8 extra drop targets and the disco loop ramp make it a much smoother game.
On the Pro the ball is always going into the pop bumpers.

The drops and loop arent really a 2k upgrade though imo. I find both about the same level of entertainment but i prefer the pro art package to the premium.
Quoted from crujones4life:Does anyone know if any distros have Mando Pro in stock?
Found a distro with 1 NIB Mando Pro left from last run! In before the price increase BOOM!

Nice! Congrats!
You just spent 6k on a pin but it’s almost like you got some extra/free cash by beating the increase! Well…. that’s what you can tell the wife, at least.
That reminds me…. What did I do with extra $1k I got from getting in early on GNR?
Quoted from ABE_FLIPS:For those who also had the sticky flipper button issue on their mando like me, I mad a quick fix guide for you:
Thanks Abe! Btw your skill tutorial videos are outstanding. Succinct and really well done. Anyone who hasn't seen them should check out his youtube channel

I fixed my flipper buttons. I was surprised there was no other people in this thread that had the same problem. Now I don’t feel crazy, that I was the only one with the problem.

What a weird issue...early runs?

Yes, I heard other people saying the exact same thing like you, thats why I made this video

thanks for the kind words
Quoted from kempsuk:Thanks for the video... it was very useful. I would have liked to have seen the voodoo on your TMNT to be fair, but you convinced me enough to go buy a sheet of the voodoo.
Thanks again.
I can do that this weekend and give you a preview. This glass plus dial the backbox brightness down to 35% during gameplay in the settings and you will want for nothing.
Except for glare reducing glass on every other pin you own.
Working on Slave 1 for all models, I figured the price version will go into the back and the Premium/LE (the wings and cannons will be adjusted to horizontal fight on the premium) can be behind the Razor Crest. This model is in very early development, with more detailing and leds in the cannons and engine's,

I set my back box brightness in gameplay even lower to 15.

Where are the brightness settings within the menu system?
Main adjustments I think. Go to them and then go backwards so you’re at the end of the selections. The brightness settings are there.
Quoted from kempsuk:Where are the brightness settings within the menu system?
I’ll make a video today or tomorrow and show.
It’s in one of the adjustments menus. There is a general setting and one for dimming during gameplay. That’s the one you want to tweak to your liking.
How many peeps can back hand that right ramp? Done it a few times, but tough to do on my Pro... I know, play better .

where did you get the JJP/Williams peices? Are they neons or just etched metal? looks awesome

I can. Luckily it's not very steep so it doesn't take much if you line it up well.
Quoted from kempsuk:How many peeps can back hand that right ramp? Done it a few times, but tough to do on my Pro... I know, play better .
I don’t even try as it’s a very tight shot on mine.

So far I've been able to do it consistently and it's an easy shot on mine.
Really surprised this particular title doesn’t have one or two knockout mods yet like Elvira etc.
Maybe I missed it. A ramp cliffy doesn’t count!

Tomorrow I'm making the animated Grogu mod. I have all the parts now and should be able to make time for it tomorrow. That is the ultimate mod at the moment.

Pretty consistently on my LE. Really quick.

Already working on my attract mode mod I create for all my Stern games. I replace the attract mode videos - showing people inserting quarters and plunging, along with the MB tutorial videos. Also working on the Avengers too, we'll see which one I finish first.
Found a great Mando theme remix using guitar that I'll replace the Alt song option with.

I have one for sale

I bought the control knob one from Ler Mods which is similar to the stern one. It's pretty heavy though so had to get a stronger spring
Quoted from Jerickso77:I bought the control knob one from Ler Mods which is similar to the stern one. It's pretty heavy though so had to get a stronger spring
Hmmm…I have it on my game and didn’t need to change the spring. It has some weight to it, but I just plunge a little easier.
Weird. I could barely reach the sneak in when I first installed it. It never plunged clean with the original shooter either but at least made it all the way around.
Wizard pins magnetic speaker panel, apron and shooter cover arrived today.
Top quality and 5 mins to fit and finish the machine off nicely.
Installed new Polaris balls for games with a magnet
Dougs speaker lights going in tomorrow.
Also fitted the ver 2 shooter rod and housing complete from Rob at hooked on pinball and it not only looks like it should have come with the machine but it feels really comfortable to use.

I know a lot of this has been covered but I had to do a lot of searching to find things so hope you don’t mind I put some stuff here to hopefully hope anyone getting a new mando.
Firstly I have an issue that I haven’t yet found anywhere and that is on multi ball when the diverter gate for the mini playfield is down, one ball is magnetised to the bottom of the coil and effectively not able to be used unless the coil power goes off or another ball hits it when doing an orbit.
Next, I fitted a playfield protector before I even put balls in, then I noticed the right ambush scoop stuck down, it had got stuck in the playfield protector.
I had to raise the scoop by putting a washer under the mech where the left bolt goes through the playfield and 2 under the plate on the right with 2 screws, this has solved the problem and I’ve let the makers of the protector know so they can inform future purchasers.
I emailed Cliff about the left ramp and he has the first prototype Cliffy done and currently being tested.
I’ve attached pics to show the left rail adjustment so the ball safely returns to the left flipper from the left rail.
I intend to install a rubber cushion to the back of the mini playfield diverter to dampen the ball and stop it from bouncing back and going back down the ramp.
I also had an issue where the ball when released from the diverter would sit at the entrance to mini playfield when it was horizontal, after checking to make sure it was fixed securely I gently bent the diverter mech up a few mm and this has cured the problem.
The right ramp was unable to be back handed by the right flipper so I adjusted the ramp bolt under the playfield which tensions and bends the ramp entry flap, it is now very smooth from both flippers.
I’ve also pointed out the coil bracket that you need to gently bend to stop it from making a loud buzzing noise, mine did and is silent now.
I’ve also pointed out the post under Grogu that’s missing a post sleeve
Sorry for long post but hope it helps someone
