Quoted from dinot:

You don't want to drive those speakers from the amp in the pin. Get an aftermarket amp (which is why you got that Pinsound adapter). I like this one:

Good info, I'll probably do something similar. Are you plugging that amp's power brick into the service outlet?

Any idea if they are going to do a larger first run of Premiums than usual due to demand? I ordered through a distributor a couple months ago and was told then I might not make the cut for the first run due to the number of orders they already had.

If the premium serial numbers picked up where the LEs left off with nothing in between then they built around 700.

Quoted from Yelobird:

Huh? How do you come up with that. They did a short run of Pros, then 750 LE'S.

Guessing based on the numbers posted here. LEs started at 318305 and end at 319054. It helps that they put the game number on the box. There are a couple Pros in the 319100s so maybe they did another small run of those. The highest Premium number I've seen here is 319730.

Quoted from Izzy24:

I put a deposit on my premium on the morning of May 12th and am being told October. Anybody else in that boat?

I put my deposit down on May 14th and was told at that time I'd probably be in the 2nd run based on the number of orders my distributor already had and how many they thought that they would get in the initial run. I'm guessing that's still the case because I haven't been contacted with any updates.

Quoted from lapean111:

There are just not that many Premiums out there yet. The first Premium run was cut extremely short.

The run was at least 10 days, 7/8 - 7/21, using dates posted here, and I've heard they can produce 50-100 a day when everything is running perfect. What is a typical first run of premiums?

Quoted from lapean111:

I spoke with a distributor who was told they would get 20 premiums in first run, and only ended up with 2. I was also pushed back from first wave to the October run for the Premium I have on order. Not sure exactly what happened, but it was a very small initial Premium run.

I'd want a couple more data points before concluding that it was a very small first run. Maybe that distributor just got shafted because they were at the end of shipping line and they ended up a few short of what they intended to produce due to a part shortage or something.

Quoted from 0geist0:

Set it up the way you like it, it's your pin.

The dealer I'm getting mine from ordered 36 Premiums and only got 5. Now I'm on the October run. Stern only had a short run of Premiums.

The distributor I ordered with told me that they typically only get a subset of what they order in the first run. The example was if they order 50 they might only get 10-12.

Quoted from linearchaos:

Premium, Early June.

I think there's a lot of people that ordered day 1 or earlier that didn't make the first run and are now in the October run.

Quoted from linearchaos:

Yeah, I'm certainly in no hurry other than the standard anticipation. Just haven't seen much recently about ship delays here so I figured it'd be good to share.

Thanks, any info is better than nothing. I'm not sure where your 8/25 date came from since as far as I know there has been only the one mid-July run of premiums so far. With stern trying to roll out insider connected, their huge order backlog, part shortages, and price increases who the hell knows? With the next run scheduled for October, that might be where your current November estimate is coming from, if the run is scheduled for the middle or end of the month.

All I know is the premium I ordered in mid-May will probably show up sometime in the next several weeks, and I might need to pay an extra grand for it.

Quoted from JStoltz:

Damn. Assuming that means my “Q1 2022” order is probably pushed back to nearly Q2 2022 at this point. Bummer.

I guess it depends on how many they build once they finally start making them again, and if it gets pushed past the start of the year how many people ahead of you cancel due to the price increase.
