Has anyone figured out why grogu sometimes grabs the ball and awards the child bonus on the plunge? I still cant figure it out and its not in the rule set.

Quoted from Jesder:Have you updated the code to 0.97? The release notes mention a fix for the child being lit when it shouldn't be. I'm wondering if those are the cases this fix was for?
I did update to .97 and thought the same thing as you. My wife and I went to play a couple games and I was telling her how grogu shouldnt be doing that on the plunge anymore and she got it her first shot Seems kind of random when it will trigger.
Hmmm. I havent had too much trouble with (starting) the super skill shot since the update. Are you holding the left flipper before you start the plunge?
Quoted from crujones4life:I already ordered left side. I would order right side too.
Same. Even though my backhanding the left ramp is nearly non existent.
Quoted from Waxx:Interesting, I backhand the left ramp all the time. Is there a reason?
Im not sure, I can rarely make that shot, and the reject bounce back is pretty brutal so I guess I just stopped trying as much if I can hit it more consistently from the right flipper.
Are people backhanding it from a standstill? Or on a roll through? Maybe ill give it some solid effort tonight and see if I can get it more consistently.
I have no problem backhanding the right scoop or right ramp from a standstill.
Quoted from MarklarD:¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Ill be looking into it tonight I just assumed it wasnt a reliable shot to backhand
I spent some time with the glass off last night just practicing shots. Should have done that a while ago because now I can nail it pretty consistently
Quoted from crujones4life:Was curious about this as well. Is there a mylar type coating on top?
I dont think its mylar, but seems to be a high quality vinyl of sorts. Ive had mine on since the end of July and dont see any signs of it wearing down. Family of 4 and it definitely gets at least a few games played on it every day. It looks great.
