Could be, looks like a metal ramp flap to my untrained eye tho
I wonder if the mini play field helps you forge Beskar into armor each time. You get full armor and you get a ball save.
That'd be cool. (Probably won't happen).
Quoted from NightTrain:I would be good with that. I has to do something though.
Baby Yoda does jack shit.
Quoted from beltking:Posted pic first on Facebook last night, hundreds of comments until admin took it down. Lol
Who posted it? Stern?
Quoted from turbo20lbs:Baby Yoda does jack shit.
Are you stating that as a fact because you know? Or speculation?

This is the way....of Stern.

Could be. Hopefully there's some sort of rules element around collecting pieces of Beskar that helps you earn more multipliers, and or unlocking additional modes.

He grabs and eats the pinball but only when you're not paying attention!
I really hope he does something also. Doesn’t look like it from the crappy pics - maybe he’s a Sparky like bash toy.
Quoted from NightTrain:So.....speculation???
Yes... remember Optimus Prime getting hit in the balls by a pop up ramp as a feature? This is the same company...
But seriously you think Baby Yoda is somehow animatronic enough to reach around and grab a ball and do what with it? He's just so far away from anything that would make sense there.
If this is an actual leaked photo then I would say that Grogu is nothing more than a set piece. I hope I am wrong though. Game feels packed. LE looks cool. Probably one of the only games I would want to powder coat the door to match the trim because of how neutral the color is.

Gotcha. Oh yes, I remember. Also Homer on TSPP and the troll on RCT. I'll cross my fingers in hopes that he at least turns his head like Homer....

Right. What do people expect? You think he is going to dance around, juggle balls, and wave at the player?

Yeah. I'm pretty bummed about that coin door. Stern needs to step up their game a bit and start powder coating those. I have no idea why all the other armor would be powder coated and not the coin door. It makes no sense. Why take the time to powder coat the rails, legs, and hinges and then just say "Yeah fuck that coin door. We're done!". It's crazy.
Quoted from jawjaw:Right. What do people expect? You think he is going to dance around, juggle balls, and wave at the player?
It's just a ton of real estate to put something there that does nothing. Seems like a very strange move. We will find out soon enough. I hope they didn't ditch the pop bumpers just to stick a Grogu on the play field.

because the doors come straight form china with all the wiring attached so they'd have to disassemble them and then powder coat them

Hope so too. There looks like there's something going on in these two areas. Just below the left shoulder of Baby Yoda there appears to be some sort of green flat plastic? Then below his right hand that is reaching out there appears to be some sort of mech there or maybe at least an area where the game will give an effect off of Baby Yoda holding the ball in the air.
the bumpers are probably hidden under yoda and the flasher goes off and he makes some sounds when they are popping off.
Quoted from nicoy3k:because the doors come straight form china with all the wiring attached so they'd have to disassemble them and then powder coat them
And??? Your point?
If grogu is just a doll they got at Walmart and shoved in there it would a the biggest stern fail of all time. Pretty sure this is a poor photoshop job of the actual game we we shall see.

man you can always pay the $100 and get it done yourself - of all the hills to die on!
The more I think about it he kinda has to be that big if he is gonna pick up the pinball it be to the correct scale?
Quoted from NeilMcRae:man you can always pay the $100 and get it done yourself - of all the hills to die on!
I'm not dying on any hill. I'm simply saying it's crazy to powder coat 90% of the metal and just leave the door out. At least give the customer the option and upcharge for it like Spooky does. I'd be good with that.
Quoted from Mando:If grogu is just a doll they got at Walmart and shoved in there it would a the biggest stern fail of all time. Pretty sure this is a poor photoshop job of the actual game we we shall see.
I hope he does too but It’s hit or miss from stern. I wished the blimp on LZ would of physically locked the ball but it was just a plastic blimp I could of took off and had my kids play with it

My guess is that the labor would increase quite a bit. I am guessing that they get the coin doors complete from Happ. So they'd have to remove the coin mechs, the coin bezels, the coin reject buttons, the spacers for the dbv slot. It is not only the powdercoating costs, it is the labor costs to do all of the above.
Quoted from NightTrain:And??? Your point?
Their point was, a powdercoated coin door will affect 0 sales. Why would they want to increase costs for no reason?
Thanks for posting. Looks a lot better than the first picture for sure. It looks f-loaded way to go Stern. Hope the code lives up to the art.
How many times can he say Spaghetti Western without getting redundant?
Quoted from Looprunner:I see some pooling and dimples on the playfield!
I’m pretty sure that’s just Mylar peeling
Quoted from DerezzedKnight:Dwight on code, according to the article starwars.com.
I’m in!
I really like the pro/premium art package color tones. At first glance premium art is the best looking I think.
Hard to tell from that video, seems fairly loaded but feel grogu Is for sure a miss as he is the most iconic thing in the show and just sits there.
Um so those 6 drop targets we heard about for weeks are really 6 standup targets representing the top of Mando's head? Baby Yoda is a doll and does nothing across all models. Upper playfield looks really odd, very little room and just hitting standup targets? WTF lol. Just initial impressions.
