I've been having a lot of fun with my LE the last couple weeks. I want to comment on Ambush mode. It's really cool to play. But, I really have to get there very deliberately. Which does not seem very ambush-like. I'd like to see it be a little more like the Boba Fett mode in Star Wars. Where you advance towards it during regular play without having to focus on it. Maybe combos can get you part way there. Or every other combo counts as an advance. Or have a white shot pop up sometimes like the Boba mode in SW.
I also kinda like the idea some have said about making the Child mode more interactive. Someone said you can hit both flipper buttons to control it. But I haven't had luck with that. Maybe being able to turn off the magnet with the action button or something would be cool.

You can turn the required shots down from 5 to something more easily achievable like 3 to light the right ramp for ambush. It is tough to get, out of 300 plays ive only gotten it 3x.
Child area without a doubt needs some work. Dwights the king of action button mashing how about a button mash game during Child award to power the magnet up depending on how powerful you want it to throw the ball to get different lane awards. Put a timer on it like 5 seconds or similar to Tie fighter or pizza eating mash games. How many eggs can Grogu eat in 5 seconds, lol!
Another thought would be lock the ball on the magnet and hit another ball into it for a Child 2 ball multiball. Another possibility would be lock a 2nd ball in the scoop(like GB) then knock the ball off the magnet to start a 3 ball multiball that uses the lanes under the Child as Jackpots and once collect all Child lanes jackpots lights super jackpot at the right scoop/inner loop. You could use the Child lane jackots for either multiball idea really. Shit you could take both multiball ideas and combine them so if you knock the ball off before hitting the scoop its just a 2 ball multiball but if you can lock ball in the scoop then its a 3 ball. Just trying to think of something comparable to the rest of the games code for that area, lol!
Also that DF multiball that you get from the ? in foundry is total waste of code, not the multiball but how to activate the multiball. Make that multiball buyable for 1000 beskar or award it in the Child award because I tried and tried and still havent seen it and Ive hit the ? mark alot and it always awards Child award, every single time!
Mando has finally arrived in Happy Valley, Oregon. I ordered my Premium on the day that sales opened up and I have to say the wait was worth it. We are really enjoying the game and all of its features are top notch in our estimation. We had been stock piling some mods in anticipation of the games arrival and spent most of today installing them. Now, it's time for some more game play 'cuz "this is the way",lol.

I am contemplating this or the plasma pop bumpers reflecting the amban blaster.

If you want to make these I’m happy to share my templates.
Im setting mine up tonight. What is the consensus on pitch for this one? I keep most of mine around 6.8 unless otherwise recommended.

Thanks. But, I prefer not to mess with those types of game settings. It's easier to compare game play experience and scores when I keep it at factory defaults for game features and outlanes. My main reason for mentioning the Ambush mode was to say that it might be nice if it was more ambush-like. Right now, I only get it if I'm intentionally going for it and making it a priority. I think it might be more fun if it felt more like it ambushed you.

Mine is around 6.8-6.9 and plays well.

I see what your saying on how the mode works. I dont think ive beaten the mode yet but the scoop blinks during it so im not sure how that plays into the mode yet really. Thats pretty much only time ive gotten there also, when i go just for it. I have hit the scoop 4 or 5 times in a row to start it once which was cool and reminded me of how Elwin does orbits in a repeating sense which felt good.
Got any ideas that would make it feel more ambush like?
Holy crap. You guys weren't kidding about the mini playfield diverter bouncing the ball back. Its like 80% of the time ffs.

I have had 0 rejects in 50 games on my premium.

We are getting 3/4 clean shots coming right back down the ramp
Quoted from KSP1138:If the premium serial numbers picked up where the LEs left off with nothing in between then they built around 700.
Wow! They did 700 premiums before pulling them off the line? And they were only on the line 2-3 weeks? Stern’s manufacturing capabilities are incredible.
I’m super bummed mine didn’t make it in the first run of premiums, but is what it is. On the bright side im sure more code will be coming. Is it confirmed that premiums will be back on the line in October?
Quoted from jeffgoldstein2:I have had 0 rejects in 50 games on my premium.
I had probably 3 out of 10 times on mine until I put the lockdown rubber on it. It’s definitely been a common problem on this thread from the beginning

Eh, I got in last spot at my distributor and while I’m stoked it shipped yesterday, I wonder if second run wouldn’t be better… maybe they inline fix some of these obvious issues.

I just fixed mine in 10sec with a small piece of weather stripping. All good. Minor tweaks are normal.

Well, that’s great, but that’s not everyone’s story, judging by this thread. I have 3 NIB pins from last 75 days and no matter how often I fix, no matter the angle of approach, none still work flawlessly like they should, especially for the amount of money we spend. Anyone can rationalize and make excuses all they want, it’s really bs we need to do these things oob. But all the power to ya brother; would be glad to be in your shoes.

Are you new to pinball? Its a box of moving parts. Maintenance and tweaking will always be necessary. Any actual problem ive ever had with a (nib) game was remedied by the manufacturer. You sound like someone who likes to play but doesnt want to do (or understand) the behind the scenes work that keeps these things playing properly. If you arent enjoying your games sell them and play at a bar. Pinball ownership is fun and laborious.

I’d like to know of a solution as well, we are constantly having them pop out on my Star Trek after years and years…

I tried painters tape then electrical tape and no go on either one; it popped out again very quickly after both. So that makes 3 times total it has popped out and I have about 60 plays on mine.
Tonight I put a couple dabs of glue from my glue gun like others here have suggested. We’ll see how long that lasts.
Mine is holding strong with hot glue. That might not be the best option if it burns out but she's holding.
