I'm definitely following this! Also, an airbrush artist could probably make the plastic animatronic look a bit more realistic, once (if) we get there!

The animatronic looks very realistic. Stern Static one looks more like a toy.
was hoping Id get my premium this week as Im in this first batch Ive been told. But hoping next week now, well see. Cant wait to see what the darn topper looks like for this one...
Played a coop game with my wife today. She was player two, on ball 3. Hit the foundry and bought an extra ball. Ball kicked out and she drained maybe 5 seconds later. I laughed and said, “at least you have an extra ball!”. Then the game ended….
Bug?

Bug?
It lights extra ball. Doesn’t collect it. Have to hit the ball back into the scoop.

Did it really require taking the left side plastic off like you show in the picture?
Quoted from KozMckPinball:Did it really require taking the left side plastic off like you show in the picture?
Yup, to remove the spinner
Quoted from ChrisLIX:Someone knows when Stern will start the next batch of Pro's exactly?
Right now apparently. I think I saw on FB the next run of pros are on the line now.

I heard August delivery
The shaker Stern used for the LE is the strongest shaker motor I have ever experienced with any previous Stern. I have joked about the power of the shaker in my Gladiators as it shakes the house but now Mandalorian is a contender in the super shaker showdown. It rattles the shit out of the glass and it popped my LED by Grogu out last night(even with Sterns new metal LED holder). I actually dig how much it shakes

Interesting, it’s pretty tame in my game, kind of like a light rumble, which is how I like them. I got mine from cointaker, but I think it’s a stern shaker. Stock settings.

Your LED would’ve popped out even without the shaker. Ask me how I know.
Actually me and a friend both have Mandalorian premiums and both our games the LED popped out already with not many plays and NO shaker motors installed yet! Sigh….
Does the Premium or Pro model have the metal LED holder that extends out into socket for Grogu spot? I was curious, and thought I may need to bend mine inwards more and add some tape

Yes it does
Quoted from 0geist0:It sucks that they only had the Premiums on the line for 1 week.
Keeps it interesting!

If the premium serial numbers picked up where the LEs left off with nothing in between then they built around 700.
Quoted from Vino:I don’t care how the sausage is made or how many alligator clips - whatever it takes -
Please make it move!!!!
This mod will be interactive and be plug and play:
1. His eyes will be closed before and end of game. (Sleep mode). Start a new game and he wakes up!
2. He will Animate when left ramp shot is made, etc. (wiggle/move mode).
3. When magnet Energizes he will raise his left arm. (Force move)
More to follow this Friday. (Video)

Huh? How do you come up with that. They did a short run of Pros, then 750 LE'S.

Guessing based on the numbers posted here. LEs started at 318305 and end at 319054. It helps that they put the game number on the box. There are a couple Pros in the 319100s so maybe they did another small run of those. The highest Premium number I've seen here is 319730.

Question:
When you all think of ‘The Force’ what color goes with it? Blue, cool white?
We are adding a flasher inside Baby Yoda to turn on only when the magnet Energizes. Shinning down toward the pf. It will also light up his body/robe. (Not shown in current picture)
Quoted from pinmister:Feel like a bull rider trying to play the upper pf. Trying to figure out a strategy and how to last longer than a few seconds playing it.
How many seconds can I last? Yee Ha! [quoted image]
I really don’t know if there is much of a strategy. It just feels like a flailing shit fest to me. Sure, when you get to the bonus level, you can wait until it’s flat to flip. Other than that, I just….don’t get it. To be honest it’s a bit of a let down. Looks cool though. That’s about it.
I know some people are saying they like it, but do they really? Or are they just saying that because they want to like it and already spent the money?

I honestly enjoy it . I try and trap the balls , which becomes a lot harder when it’s steep . I did turn down their power just a hair and seems to make a difference .

I'm on the fence about it. It's fun but it's such a small area even while trapping balls. I find it pretty difficult and it moves very quickly of course even though I have turned down the flipper strength a bit.

How about compared to “the power” on twilight? Less or more random?

Less IMO
What's the latest on the coil stops? Has anyone had one fail yet or as Stern fixed the issue with this game?
My dad is getting one and I'm trying to know if I should just replace them at the start or wait until they wear out. It's not my machine so I won't be able to observe it regularly...

Show your dad how to check them?

Is there a fix for that?

Tear down the back of the game to access that area and move the guide back that is more towards the left. This in combination with updated code that fixed the child always being lit on the right outlane has improved things significantly.

In photo 2 are you talking about the guide that’s just to the right of the rail? I’ll double check but mine might be behind that rail. I can’t tell where your first photo is taken. Is that under the middle ramp?
Played the LE a decent amount over the weekend. Had one good game around 860 mil where I played 2 of 3 mini wizard modes. Can anybody guess which one I didn't play? Ding ding ding! You got it, encounters. I think I finished the first level of the first encounter, so like 1/9th of the way there. No chance I'm ever slogging through all that crap.
LE upper playfield feels different from the pro, but is no more satisfying in my opinion. Just a total waste of BOM and playfield space. Zero fun (your mileage may vary). Rest of the game? Pretty damn fun.
Quoted from 0geist0:Show your dad how to check them?
I will. Since it will be his first pin, I'm trying to set him up for success as much as possible!
But I did a search for coil stop issues on the thread and didn't see anything...so hopefully the major issues are behind us.

Well, we're actually having fun with that upper playfield, for us it's something 'special' that happens during gameplay - that's how we see this anyway!
But like you said, rest of the game is pure fun!! The theme is so accessible, everybody that comes over to see and play it totally get into the game right away. Mando should also make operators happy!
Watching a couple streams, it looks like you pretty much get one shot from a trap on the upper pf, then it immediately turns into a blindingly fast random drain fest. I’d love to see a stream that shows someone able to consistently make contact with the ball the times or more after the first flip on the upper pf.
Obviously, pf size is an issue. Is turning the flipper strength down for the only the upper flippers an option? If so, does it help?

I can make it to the 5th level or 2nd stage of 2nd encounter so far. I can try to record it. The key is to aim between the targets on the encounters that have the targets side by side and always be thinking about how to stop the ball for the follow up shots after each shot.
