Despite whatever assurances you've been given, and maybe even how the game looks, you gotta peek under the apron and look at the diddler what fiddles the balls:

That was under a Torpedo Alley which, to be fair, had other signs of heavy use. No biggie, but when the game wouldn't recognize a drain I was thinking "ah, just a trough switch or something". NOPE! That kicker pawl had worn so badly it was occasionally snagging the edge of the trough wall and digging a notch therein.

I mean just look at how badly this thing has worn down:

Pretty impressive, I must say. The funniest part about this is, for all this game's other normal wear and tear, the shooter lane is fine...

My Laserwar had that exact same issue. It kept getting caught as it was returning. I was impressed by how super smooth it was though.

Upon reading and looking at first picture my eyes went to plunger end and it doesn't look bad at all and the black soleniod dust didn't seem bad either. Good one.

And TBK pic is a good candidate for that new hardtop product. That game still has some games to give I'm sure of it.

Gah, that poor Kings of Steel... barely a knave of wood!

Yeah, so obviously my game wasn't played to *that* level of death, but still! I finally found the replacement part at Marco and I'm even more amazed how worn down it is (compare to top photo in thread)...

All that wear, from the outhole kick! I wonder if it has the wrong (too strong?) coil installed...

Better call Steve at PBR and ask for that exact part, using that exact description!!
