That fuse come out of the hole on the metal box ? That is your main fuse, nothing works if it's bad or out.

The fuse you are holding looks blown. You could check it with a meter, I'd toss it and use a new one.

Sounds like a flipper opto problem to me, not fuse related

Yup game works fine with that fuse in there. Just flipper problem is there a way to test the flipper optos? Or just get new ones? New novice thanks tom

Tests - Switch Edge - push in slowly see if two register each side.

If coil test is operating automatically, then the flipper button opto boards aren't working, or the fliptronics board isn't seeing them.

That mean check connections or new opto boards all connectors look fine and ribbons thanks

Any way to put meter on optos?

If you have another game or friend with a game. I'd try a different fliptronics board. Only try different flipper button opto boards if you have correct voltage to them.

No one around unfortunately. To test is that where your plug to 12v supply?

#15 5 years ago

The 12V and ground pins on the flipper board connectors are usually labeled on the board. Pull the connector off and measure there

On the power driver board is a 12 volt test point. And each flipper button opto board has power going to it, you'd need to check each connector. Check manual for voltages and connector pin outs.

Not a flipper problem but looking at that fuse - I would replace it immediately.
It looks as if the fuse blew and then re-welded itself back together. I have seen this happen once, it is no longer the current rating that it originally was but could now be something much, much higher.
