    Quoted from Lhyrgoif:

The green legs look nice but why wrapping that might scrub off easily and not simply spray paint or similar?

Paint does not stick well to pvc, and also does not color evenly. Wrap has a far better chance than paint. One bump, and paint will come off of pvc due to the petroleum used to make it.

    #152 11 months ago

Maybe have a plant coming out of one of the warp pipes?

    Thats a good idea

They already smoked it out in the alley!

Not a plant left in amigo headquarters

Beard is a big fan of wrapping stuff,i was hesitant on it but it turned out to be quite durable.
Even Despicable me's wrapped lockbar survived numerous shows.
    Paint would've worn off?
Paint is basically just a thin film and not rub resistant at all..
Wrapping stuff really grew on me.
Only time it sucks is when objects are a strange shape..that's the hard part!

absolutely love the Mario pin. can't wait to see the PF progress. you guys rock!

    Happy fridays are back!

The sides - i assume the decals are level? From the angle of the cam they look crooked and it's driving me bonkers. And will those legs hold up the machine? Couple hundred pounds..and that is plastic where metal usually goes. Would be a shame to see it break. Maybe standard legs INSIDE the pipes?

The legs are inside, these are just covers, go back look at pics, you can see the adjustment sticking out on 2nd or 3rd pic. Obviously these wouldn't hold, especially since there aren't even any screws, or bolts in the pvc. Just a facade.

Actually Krylon(?) has been around for decades and works fine with PVC. I've used it in multiple applications.

Know what you mean, these words look a bit off.
Strange thing is,if you measure them from the bottom,it is correct but i think the top angle of the cab demands that decal to be installed at a bit of an angle.
But i feel it levels out after 3 beers

Maybe those rails need some art wrapping, too?

The rails might look good with a block pattern, so it looks like they’re floating like in levels

(Also huge fan of the “leggers” - I think that’s what JJP was calling their blinged out legs on Godfather)

Hey Bas love the room, got some cool character - what is the Maas... sign.

My mum is from Maastricht so the sign made me think of down south.

It IS a (sleeping) small town (which nobody knew about before) and it IS a littlebit south but it was used as a film location for "New Kids" , a production about a bunch of street youth (loiterers).
First they only made Youtube videos but that exploded and they ended up making 3 films.
Mic and Dick aren't fans but i enjoy it a lot:

It is from the southern part of the Netherlands where they speak their own language. Mix between Dutch/Flemish/German/curse
Maybe we should just give it away to Belgium and Germany.

haha, my mum is from Maastricht way down south and dad is from Rotterdam so for many years they tried teaching me dutch and they constantly had disagreements of words and how to pronounce words so they gave up on teaching me - so I totally get it.
