I have an iPad and use it every day for different stuff. Its OK.
My phone is a Pixel 3a XL. Its OK.
My PC is W10, its OK.
They all work. The interfaces are what they are, I don't think any of them are particularly great in terms of UI design, but once you figure them out you generally can make it work for you. Once you get used to something, switching to something else will almost always seem bothersome.
But all in all, I think it would be great to be as separated as possible from Microsoft, Google, and Apple. All 3 of them, while providing useful service for consumers, are also far too intrusive and privacy-invasive. Some say evil. Unfortunately it is very difficult to completely drop these, as they have worked their way into our daily lives and we are all hooked.
Meanwhile, I am continuing to look at and implement ways to minimize the intrusion, which is becoming somewhat better with recent updates. There are various things to be done, like ramping up whatever security settings you have access to, turning off as much return communications from the OS as possible, moving to things like Brave, DuckDuckGo, and so forth.
