    Quoted from pins4u:

Keep your blinkers on if you like.

You're obviously not really from Gaborone. It's easy to spot.

Only Americans with no science background know the truth about global warming.

    Quoted from jchristian11:

Excellent debate tactic! Guy says X, another guy points out that X is false, you say "HE MUST BELIEVE THE WORLD IS FLAT!"

I think his point was that actual evidence makes zero difference for people to believe what they believe, be it climate change, the world is flat, the moon landing was fake, or there was election fraud.

    Quoted from Nevadapinball:

If any californians move here to the Silver State, we ask you to please leave your liberal views in California. Remember you are a refugee fleeing CA, NOT a missionary.

Why are you intolerant of people with different viewpoints than yours?

Please answer on behalf of everybody in Nevada.

    Quoted from underlord:

NY and NJ folks moved up here, immediately cut all of the forest out of their areas. Right up to the property lines. Those properties are easy to define as they look like empty lots now. Will take years to recover.

Are you complaining about what was done to the trees as if it was bad?

Would it be better to "take away their freedoms" so they can't cut their own trees?

Imagine having laws preventing people from doing whatever they want.

They see it as an attack on their personal freedoms. They don't care about how their acts affect others.

It's the same in cutting trees, or responding to Covid. Don't mess with people's freedoms.

    Quoted from IdahoRealtor:

Tolerance of all viewpoints may be PC, but it's folly. In order to have freedom, safety, and prosperity there are many misguided and dangerous viewpoints that must be rejected.

I agree with you about dangerous and misguided viewpoints but not about tolerance.

Some people believe in science and facts and others believe in conspiracy theories and lies. I have no problem with that. People have never universally agreed on things.

But being tolerant of other's viewpoints could improve our situation. We can still believe and support whatever we want without such extreme discord.

I'm willing to bet that intolerance could lead frustrated people to form mobs and engage in violent attacks.

    Educate yourself, man, seriously.

Good point. Skip college. Read the internet.

    Quoted from IdahoRealtor:

We already have violent and lawless mobs and many nefarious elites who are supporting them.

Yep I was being facetious. We actually agree again.

The intolerant violent and lawless mob attacking the Capitol was a disgrace as are the elected elites who pretend it never happened.

Btw, I don't support any of the other intolerant violent mobs destroying property either. Assholes on both sides, buddy.
