Found a game on CL that I'm very interested in but I'm still new to this so I'm a bit hesitant to drive that far and buy a game from somebody I know nothing about. Also, it's an older game so if there is quite a bit of pf wear, is there anything you can do for that other than buy a new pf?

You can send the playfield out for restoration, or you can buy a new one.

Don't go anywhere until you're fully satisfied with pics and all questions answered! There's nothing worse than driving hours to be surprised with stuff that was misrepresented or things you didn't ask 1st. Was it water damaged? Any board hacks? It may take a bunch of emails plus a few phone calls to set your mind at ease before you commit to a road trip.

make sure you have all the info and details you need before visiting, some ads can be misleading. Don't rush into anything unless you 100% sure........if pf needs doing get a quote 1st as well.

Thx. Good advice all around. Tried to reply to the the add but there's nowhere to contact the guy. That's kind of strange...
