I have a home in Wisconsin and on Sanibel Island. Fortunately my Sanibel home was largely spared from Hurricane Ian. The island was trashed although cleanup and rebuilding has started. That said, there is going to be a lot of bargains available as people decide they don't want the hassle of rebuilding. Sanibel Island is just off the coast by Fort Myers. Beautiful area great largely subtropical climate in the winter. The traffic down here is what is it. It's crazy busy everywhere from Presidents Day through Easter. Although the West Coast of Florida is far better than the East Coast traffic wise.
