Whoever painted those did a terrific job!

#8 5 years ago

Can you do mine?

#10 5 years ago

The toys look even better in person. Going to try to take better pictures this weekend. Will have Creature and Dr Frankenstein too...

#11 5 years ago

Wow...fantastic work!

The bride now looks like an "islander" LOL

Her color looks much better in person - I am going to take better pictures. The detail is incredible on these in person. Pictures don't do them justice.

#14 5 years ago

Dont get me wrong they look incredible, just noticed that the bride looks like maybe she is from Haitis

#15 5 years ago

Just trying to give a feel of what they will look like in the game. It is hard to use the flash to get the correct colors of the toys. I just sat the pieces in the game as it is starting to get torn down. Dr Frankenstein and Dracula are off getting painted... I just sat the Brides head on the post as I didn't want to push it all the way on... Frankenstein and his table are getting painted over the weekend

Lets try this again....

They look great and now you are just showing off

#19 5 years ago

Let me know your address so you can do mine next.

#20 5 years ago

Can I come over soon?

#21 5 years ago

Very, very nice!
Im guessing your new XMen figures are going to get some love too???

#22 5 years ago

I had these done by a professional model painter - Damn if I had that type of talent. These have to be seen in person to appreciate how good they look

Quoted from BoJo:

Ok true - but I am excited about them

Quoted from kwiKimart:

You can come over anytime but if you want to see the MB you better get here soon. Saturday is probably going to start the restoration. New parts, Cabinet decals, the repro playfield is at HSA getting clearcoated - so it will be a few months before it all gets back together.

I am struggling with the X-men - i am on the fence on this one. Dont know what to do... but I am now into finding another game that can be painted.... any suggestions?? - I know STTNG has lots of stuff that can be painted although I never played it.

These look amazing. You guys like these....head to your local comic book store and ask around for model people. You will get a shit load i am sure. Hobby stores as well

#25 5 years ago

Definitely adds some much needed character. I always felt like MB was perfect "as is", but I would love to do this to mine.

#26 5 years ago

Honch...why don't you just use Marks guy? (if it's ok with him)

#27 5 years ago

If anyone wants his email please PM me. I don't want to post it on the forum but will send to anyone who PM's me. I think he would do others....

FYI - they are not cheap to do all 7 of them....

#28 5 years ago

You'll have to use your talents to fix the X-Men ones.

Adding Dracula and Creature

How does Creech show up? Easy to see? He looks awesome painted, but I would be afraid that he'd get lost in the mix...

#31 5 years ago

Just put a little Light Mod right on the little guy!

#32 5 years ago

Those look awesome!

#33 5 years ago

When painting the Creature we placed him under the green plastic to see how he showed up. He looks pretty good with the lighter green and white highlights. We used a small flashlight to light him up so if it is brighter than the actual game I will add another light on to him.

Love the look of these,
cannot wait to see Frankenstein

I thought about it but i dont know how to do it. I tried to get some help on here but was not able to get anyone to show me how to wire them.

I am going to show all the Monsters when they are complete. I still have Frankenstein, his table and some boney flippers left to get painted...

1 week later

I will post all the Toys together but here are a few more...

I like your table and Frank, must say they turned out nicer than mine. I went with silver for the side pieces that hold the table up, so I’ll be interested to see how your setup looks when assembled. The detailed shading on Frank looks great. How is the rest of the restoration coming? I always enjoy checking out other people’s work. So far so good.

I really love it!!! The gurney looks great too. I'd like to see some pics of everything back in the game.

#40 5 years ago

So cool, made a great looking game even better.

#41 5 years ago

Those look really good and for brilliant idea and execution I give this Pinfester rating.

#42 5 years ago

lookin good!!!!!!!

#44 5 years ago

That is going to look great! More PICS!!

#45 5 years ago

Thank for all the comments. I will post more pics next week as I am out of town. I haven't posted Dr Frankenstein or the enhanced boney flippers yet. I need to take some better pictures as they really do look better in person.

Thinking about how to make the x-men toys better.....
