    I agree. Best way to make pinball a part of the mainstream, give one free $500 pin to every household.

    I see a number of collectors with kids and it makes me think one reason people buy pins is a desire to share the experience with family. What could be better than to have a common interest with the little ones? Once he gets the green light from Momma to buy a pin, the rationalization begins that he might as well buy one that adults can enjoy too. This is code speak for daddy wants to buy buy himself toys. So some pins are really bought for dad, some mainly for the kids and don't forget the wife. More pins means more family time, right?
