Then I apply a second tape because I have had the backing tear off while pulling it in the middle of installation. That sucked...

Then I pull about 6 inches of backing off and fold it so it faces down...

Then simply put the rail in position and install the bolt but dont tighten it, pull on the piece of backing that is hanging down while pressing the rail in place...
