+1 to PNBLWZD. It's the trunk switch. The trunk takes an incredible amount of punishment and it's not unusual at all - it won't necessarily come up in the switch test either. I've actually replaced this assembly, thinking it was a bad wire or relay, and I had the same problem after about 50 games.
