Have had this TOM for a bit. The trunk not spinning slowly degraded over time to not spinning at all. It was a simple reboot and it would spin again no problem. Now it just doesnt spin. Switch test I can spin the opto interrupter manually and see the switches activating for all 4 cube positions on the display just fine. Trunk test starts normal switch 56 closed rest open. If hit the +/1 get trunk motor error.

When you go into test menu I get check
Trough 3
Cube Pos 1
Cube Pos 2
Cube Pos 3

Trough 3 would probably be why it started kicking out balls randomly. Not sure why that is, will circle back to that after the trunk is fixed I guess. Fuse look good. Not sure what the deal is. Was working for months fine. Then it went to if you hit the trunk while spinning it would stop spinning and require a reboot. To not working at all. When I tested the motor things seemed to spin fine, no wierd noises, speed was consistent.

ideas? Need more info? let me know. Thanks in advance for assistance.

Dead. If I apply 12v manually to the motor it spins fine by itself so I know it works.

That was my thought as well, so I ordered a replacement board and trunk test fine. Still getting check Trunk POS 2 and Trough 3 errors. Trunk spins again though.

I gave it a play so now I am down to trough 3 not being right. Which causes it to kick balls out erroneously after you lock a ball some where. So I get to hunt that down.

Turned out to be a bad IR receiver board after I replaced that no more check trough 3. so the IR receiver for trough 3 must be bad. What is amusing is I put that in 6 months ago along with the IR sending board while diagnosing a similar issue that was intermittent. At least I kept the old ones around and was able to test.

Hurray for a working theatre again. Thanks for head check on the motor board.
