Just bought Snowyetti’s ToM yesterday and I’m loving the game. I did a factory reset with the playfield set at just over 6.5 and I beat the game tonight!!! What’s a good score for this game? I know beating the game doesn’t necessarily give you the highest score, but I was super pumped when it said 500 MILLION!! I love that this game has an achievable ending. I’m pumped to be in the club.

Quoted from tbaum:

That was about what I was thinking. I was going to suggest $5,000 and see. It's actually owned by a place that outfits bars etc., so they know what the game is, but they seem to be getting out of the pinball game business. What would I need to look for on the board?

Something similar to this would be battery corrosion. It could look a little better or a lot worse, but this gives you a general idea of what the corrosion looks like.

Quoted from meSz:

Anyone ever encounter their Subway Release Coil stop working? Mine did after moving the machine. It's not working in TEST mode either so figured maybe wire came off but to no avail!

Mine did the same thing after moving it in to the house. With mine the magnet for the trunk also stopped working and something else which I can’t remember. It turned out to be a fuse for me. Tested all the fuses with a DMM and found one that was bad. Changed it out and all was good.

Sounds like your eddy board might need to be adjusted. Look under the playfield and see if you need to adjust the board. There is a potentiometer on the small board that the eddy plugs onto. Turn it until the LED goes on, then back off just until the LED goes out.

#2625 5 years ago

If the eddy sensor is slight off on adjustment it would start your skill shot when you plunge the ball. If the LED light on the board is on when you plunge, it thinks a ball is at the trunk, which means it thinks you hit the skill shot (could be advance clock, bonus 2x, etc, whatever you are on when you plunge). I'm not saying it is definitly your problem, but it is easy enough to check.

After thinking about it, your second problem sounds like it is the eddy sensor as well. You lock 2 balls. If the eddy sensor is registering a third ball at the trunk it would start your multiball even though the third ball is not there. The eddy sensor might need adjusting or replacement, but I am convinced that is the problem.

Tested the trunk eddy sensor and seems to be fine

Odd. Sorry, that's all I've got. Good luck and make sure you post the solution when you figure it out.

Quoted from ababapanos:

one more thing, today the ΤΟΜ does not open, I looked at the backyard and I saw a fuse burned from the board fliptronic II controller (F903)
This is the reason does not open; I still wanted to ask what type FUSE to put? in the manual he writes 3A SB, but in the burning fuse writes 10A
what is right to do?
thanks again!

I don't believe a 10A fuse is used anywhere, but I could be wrong. I think the 3A SB sounds right.

#2653 5 years ago

Isn't the main fuse for the game an 8A fuse? If it is then someone blew that fuse a lot and rather than fix the reason for it blowing, they just put a bigger fuse in there. It is possible they put that one in because they didn't have the correct fuse. Manual says 3A SB, that's what I would go with.
