Quoted from punkin:Get the pinsound card if you are a fan of the band.
My Tommy and Tales from The Crypt left yesterday. Just too much maintenance on the DE's for me, seem to be broken more than going.. Shame because i loved both.
I’m new to DE pins. What kind of issues were they giving you?
Quoted from Dallas_Pin:Was Ron looking for one for you as well or is his different?
Ron is looking on my behalf.
Quoted from pinballjah:Pretty quite in the Tommy thread these days. New decal I added recently.

It has been quiet here!
All the pieces are finally coming together fir my Tommy. The Tommy I bought from Jopo8157 has been shipped to Jjsmooth for restoration. Finding a playfield was a real bitch. I won’t go into the details, I ended up getting a nice play field from Dallas_Pin and has it shipped to CaptainNeo for restoration. It will have a ColorDMD, Pinsound and PinWoofer set up installed.
Quoted from pinballjah:Sounds like you are going full out on this one. You may want to look into the Who translite as well that they now sell out of Europe. Btw, I thought space was tight in Hong Kong, how can you have room for 67 games? Do you own an arcade there?
I’ll look into the translate. Do you have a source?
I’ve been in Hong Kong five years, but my collection is back in the USA.
Quoted from Dallas_Pin:Here’s an example of a ‘used’ Tommy PF that had no work done on it. Smooth .. your observations are spot on. My GnR and DESW are the same
[quoted image]
Hey! That PF looks familiar!
Quoted from Milltown:Just ordered pinsound plus for mine...
Get a PinWoofer setup to go with it. I did.
Quoted from scootss:Many people find that you get more enjoyment out of the pinsound. Reason being that you're always hearing the music/sound and only sometimes looking at the display. For a music pin, that's doubly the case, IMO.
Not my video, but this makes the case pretty well
I noticed the alternative cabinet art in the video. I’m having my game restored and I’m on the cusp about decals. Anyone else have pictures of their game with alternative cab decals? Please post.
My Tommy is being restored and I just purchased the RetroFefurb alternative cabinet decals and translight. I hope I don’t regret it! I’ll be frank, I bought The Shadow, AFM and CFTBL decals from RetroRefurb a couple years back and had great communication. But I’ve written Pete three or four times in the last month with absolutely no response. Anyone else have similar luck?
