Quoted from Sandman454:

Hopefully Next up colour DMD and Pinsound.

Many people find that you get more enjoyment out of the pinsound. Reason being that you're always hearing the music/sound and only sometimes looking at the display. For a music pin, that's doubly the case, IMO.

Not my video, but this makes the case pretty well

Quoted from Ive:

Covered in the manual. I dislike the DE method for playfield access ....really horrible.

Mentioning this in case it helps someone. In position 3 when it says "reverse procedure"...that's not exactly right. You really need to get to side of the machine and get a hand on the back of the playfield to get it back over the "bump"

Quoted from ArgyleRuby:

There is one pot (it looks like a 3-inch screw without a head) on a metal box mounted inside the cabinet that I know is used to turn the volume up and down but I don't think it presses in at all, only turns.

This is the spot. Turn it all the way down and back up and it will go to the next package.

...but it can be finicky for people, which is why a lot of people do this...

Quoted from monkfe:

You're better off getting the headphone adaptor that Pinsound sells...you can just reach down and adjust as needed and a double tap to 0 volume to change music packages

Quoted from mbelofsky:

If you scroll to the bottom, I have a short video of the blinders working.

Very nice!

While you're tidying up...I really like these. Silly, but makes me smile every time I take off the lockdown bar.

Quoted from LOTR_breath:

Yes, there should be a physical knocker.

...and it would be in the bottom of the cabinet, not in the backbox (like WPCs of that era)

Anyone in the Northeast want to trade their Tommy for my DE JP? It has pinsound + ColorDMD.
