    Quoted from ryansherwood:

Going to the show Saturday for the first time in hopes of picking up my first machine! I'm new to the hobby and have a couple questions.
    1. Does the show normally have a lot of EM machines for sale/play?
    2. I will hopefully be riding up with my friend in his jeep. Do you think I'd be able to fit a machine in a jeep? Is it common practice to bring a wrench to remove the legs and a dolly to transport the play field or do sellers usually or the show have these available for use?
I just got into pinball this summer visiting wildwood and asbury park and the EM machines were my favorite. The top of my want list at the moment would be a Sing-A-Long (or Melody) or a El Dorado but am really looking to pick up anything with a cool theme, fun to play, and in the $500-$1000 ballpark. Would also love a Scared Stiff or Creature if I can come up with that kind of money by then.

Scared stiff and creature are 4k to 6k games now. Not sure if you can raise that kink of cash in that time frame.

    Quoted from 1974DeltaQueen:

Usually enough games but Imho Pintastic was hurting this year, booths with stuffed toys and T-shirts in 2016 where pins were set up in 2015.

We actually had about 30 more games in free play this year. We also had 110 games in free play at 10pm on Saturday night. I would not say we were hurting for games. All the shows on the east coast are well supported by collectors. York is a great show! It was nice seeing both Allantown and York promotors at Pintastic this year.

I don't know if this has been answered yet but can the T Shirts be ordered online or are they only sold at the show?

I am wondering if they have any of the t shirts with the girl sitting on the flipper in large. I would love to order one. Please pm me

    Quoted from too-many-pins:

Best bet is to go to the Web Site and email Rich directly. I doubt he will spend much - if any - time reading through post this month. It takes a ton of work to put a show together and as far as I know Rich does most of it himself. Not to say he doesn't get a lot of help from volunteers but as far as running things and making sure everything is taken care of I think that falls mostly on him.

I know exactly what he is going through. It's like having a full time job the last 4 months before a show. I will email him thanks.

    Quoted from too-many-pins:

I am really bummed out about the show this year. I'll be busy helping my oldest son (who lives in NJ) move into his first house all weekend. I just got word last night that we will be making the move Friday the 30th and Saturday the 1st for sure. Small stuff in my van all day Friday and rental truck Saturday with a couple of his friends for furniture. So it is confirmed now - no York Show for me this year unless I run over Thursday and say hello to a few friends & to see Rich.
Sometimes life can really suck but family has to come first! The crazy thing is this is the 3rd year in a row family issues have kept me from being at York. Already planning for Allentown in the Spring & York next Fall. Such is life --- I guess!

Dont forget about Pintastic next summer!
