No, come on, capitalism/industrialism doesn't work, just ask anyone currently in grade school through college, they'll spout off a thousand reasons we're bad for thinking that it does.

Quoted from johngravenews:Guess you don't play the "war machine" mode much then
Still itching to get a go on TWD as I've pre-ordered the limited version pretty much on theme alone so fingers crossed I haven't just bought a turd (Over $11,000 in the UK - gulp)
I no way is this machine a turd.
Quoted from AbacusMan:I'm only buying this one because of the voice overs.
Gonna make a spittoon for the topper. It's gonna be sweet!
But yet your avatar is big buck hunter...
Quoted from jlm33:...Which is the Mother-Of-All-Pins. Don't ever criticize the Great BBH...
I'm.not criticizing it, I'm saying it's kind of strange to give TWD crap when BBH has southern United States voice acting in it too. It's like people don't know TWD TV show takes place in the southern United States.
Quoted from gearheaddropping:I suggested this right after the game was released. TWD pro is pretty basic when it comes to any types of "features" to be honest with you. Other than the doors opening on the prison, its pretty bare of neat gizmos.
But, when was pinball ever all about neat gizmos?
Quoted from eggbert52:You forgot to include:
Sincerely,
Gary Stern
Says the guy with two stern pins.
Quoted from gweempose:It should have been a zombie vari-target that revealed a physical ball lock when you hit it all the way back. Kind of like how the vari-targets on Safe Cracker and RBION work. That would have been awesome!
Yeah, a vari-target in there would have been neat. Good DMD animation to match the position, use it for other mode stuff, good idea.
Quoted from gearheaddropping:Since the invention of the flipper....
Ha, good one. . But if you look at Metallica, or AC/DC, which are very popular, what vast array of gizmos are on those machines that are any better than TWD? I personally think TWD is going to end up being a very popular and code rich machine. All Stern pro machines have two maybe three 'gizmos', this one is no different.
Yes, I'm not surprised that a person who loves LOTR doesn't care for TWD. It's interesting, I don't personally care for LOTR, I much prefer TWD even with release firmware. Sure, there could have been a better implementation of the prison (the vari-target is a great idea) but over all, I think it's a fine machine. Looking forward to seeing the code develop and where the comments go.
Quoted from alichino:I agree 100% with everything blondtall has had to say. Look at the number of thumbs up on her posts compared to the thumbs down of everyone bashing her has gotten. That alone should tell you the kind of community most pinsiders want this place to be.
I don't agree with her 100%, but it isn't my forum so I follow the rules set forth by the mods.
