Well said here. I agree 100%. Unfortunately, the game is an absolute failure for me though b/c of all the things mentioned in here already (sound, horrible theme integration, cheap drains, etc) - it just isn't fun. Period.

Has nothing to do with being hard either - I've actually progressed pretty well in it but it's just not fun. Let down of 2019 for me no question so I'm not sure if the OP means the verdict he gave himself but the verdict for me (and many other people I talk to that aren't owners trying to defend their purchase) - this game is a wonker.

LEs sitting around and a CE that is MIA is never a good thing. Bring on GnR.

The fact that one of the best themes is 50/50 fail vs success per the vote is crystal clear on why this game is a disappointment. It should have been a clear winner.

They had to try to make this one not succeed.

And the pf issues have nothing to do with at least showing what the CE looks like.

I will agree with you there - the code to me is not confusing at all. Now it does nothing to draw me in, is a complete mashup mess with the most annoying effects and music in modern times but code is not difficult to understand. The big screen in the back also helps explain what to do. They did a fine job with that

I know you desperately want people to like this game but what you have a hard time understanding is that the normal player doesn't want to force themselves to "get" this game (like many owners had to self admittingly do).

Then there are people like me who actually spent time trying to "get" this game and given up bc it's such a mess. I will admit that I haven't played the new code so hey, maybe there's a chance!
