A little video I happened across.
I’m here at the PHoF until about closing. If anyone has any machine specific questions, feel free to post. Open until 10pm tonight.

Can you post pics of the New sign lite up?
Is it fully finished?

It’s not illuminated yet. When it’s completely finished, it’ll be lit up and super bright!
Quoted from SonicZone:Did you ever get Godzilla's IC online (Insider Connected)?
Long story short: No. Not yet. I will post as soon as we do.
Quoted from poppapin:Do they use 47's or led's?

I thought at one time Tim modified bulbs?
Quoted from chad:I thought at one time Tim modified bulbs?
This is true. Well, I think what he was actually doing was using a raw LED + resistor, probably soldered directly to boards and sockets. At the old old location, I remember a Funhouse that had very blue-ish LEDs installed. I bet it's still that way, but I haven't looked for it at the newer locations.
Around 2007, Tim was doing this for power-bill related reasons. I don't know what they're doing now that plug-in LEDs are available.

Thanks!

I recall an AFM in the same sad situation, blue-ish GI, yellow inserts were mountain dew green. I understand it for electric bill and hot-ass desert reasons, but as a customer of a pinball "museum," I was just like ugh.
If that's what it takes to keep the doors open though, fine, I get it.
Does anyone have a line on what their holiday hours will be? I've not been in 12 years but will be in the area Dec 23-27.
I want to drive from PA to Vegas just to see that new sign and the new place. Can't wait until our next coast to coast trip in a year or so! I am building a new "custom built" camper just for that trip now we just need to see if I can have it done for next Fall or if trip will happen Spring of 23.
Back again super early today to fill the cranes and attempt to clean a few machines before opening.
Williams Taxi has arrived in time for Christmas. It should be operational in a day or two.
Is it though?
Looks like it is lit up by external spotlight and not the sign itself turned on and lit internally with neon effects.
Awesome none the less!
Maybe someone will post a .gif of the arrow "in motion".
Quoted from MrBally:A motorhome photo bombing past night.
This gives the sign scale. Man, I cant wait till I'm back in LV and can visit PHOF again.
Quoted from MrBally:A motorhome photo bombing past night. YESCO rep was there on a Recon mission too...

I find this to be quite interesting. I had heard that Yesco bid on the sign job bu r their price was obscenely higher than what High Impact Signs bid was. Hence, obviously, HIS got the job.
And a quite amazing job it is!

Yep, dude from Young/Yesco was in an orange/white pickup blocking the entrance drive taking pictures from his truck while I stopped by with my son taking him to the Airport.
Btw, that PHoF sign by High Impact Signs cost a whopping $530,000. Its not a secret or anything. Just random trivia I thought ya’ll might find interesting/fascinating.

Yes, I was aware of the cost of the sign.
Place is nice. I stopped in Wednesday for my maiden visit. Spent five hours sampling the goods. I got to enter my initials into several games. I like god Zella pro a lot, may have to add that one to the herd.

Techs are fixing machines crazily and attendants (like myself today) are clearing stuck balls and explaining to numerous tourists that the machine didn’t steal their money, they need to press that fiashing button labelled “Start”.
Fun fun!
Quoted from MrBally:Sign update as I was nearby this evening. Still not powered up....

Maybe you have to put a quarter in it to light it up for two minutes
