Luckily I prefer buying older, well maintained, used cars so the prior owner(s) paid all the depreciation. My motto is, "Yesterday's technology, today."

Been keeping an eye out for a certain model car on FB Marketplace. Easy to weed out the bullshitters when asking for the VIN. Yeah, I'm not driving to look at jacksquat unless I have the VIN to perform a little research.
Those douchebags also love to not show pictures of the driver seat, then just reply that there are no rips or tears. Ok, now I know it's fucking filthy.
