Quoted from yancy:Suggestion for the write-in categories: winners are ineligible next year (or maybe next two years). Being a Chicago homer I of course support Dead Flip and Logan Arcade, but it's not fun if the same things could potentially win every year. Pinburgh seems like a lock to win its category for... ever. I love Pinburgh and voted for it, but I feel the awards are better if they can spread the love to a variety of deserving entities.
Good suggestion.
What's the point of the write-in? Can't you have a submit entries window and then put those entries to a vote?
PS - Can I say, I am still very surprised and pleased to have won the fav homebrew twipy. Great company with Airplane, Kill Bill, Good Vs Evil, Minions, and all the rest!
