I shy away from many pinball podcasts/streams because many times it is unbearable to watch/listen. Many are nerdy and they laugh at stupid shit and it's like nails on a chalkboard.
That being said, this event was top notch. I was entertained, they kept things moving, and it was fun.
Your hard work paid off guys. I applaud you for a job well done!
Quoted from flynnibus:Embarrassing you can't come up with anything but complaining about how you think should be and can't acknowledge anything else that actually happened.
Seriously - answer what you think stern should have done to "take this seriously"
I think their staff were well prepped and handled themselves very well on stage.
My personal opinion, Maybe stern should send a big name or two to and accept awards, talk to the common man, and just make an appearance at such shows.
In the pinball public psyche, it can go a LONG way as far as goodwill, and in turn... sales.
People are more likely to buy from someone they "know".
Quoted from pin2d:So Kaneda acts like a total asshole and disrupts an event that people have spent hundreds of hours working on for the pinball community.
And to get back at him, you act like an asshole and disrupt an event that people have spent hundreds of hours working on on for the pinball community.
Got it, thanks for clearing that up.
Yes. If you really needed to confront Chris, why not do it outside a live event. You have shown no respect for others at this event and didn't even apologize? Shows your lack of character.
I so appreciated this event and the amount of work Zack and Greg did. I was very impressed.
Quoted from wolftownjeff:I have no idea who Franchi is.
In the autograph session he was talking about having been fired from his job on Friday.
I thought it was strange he was talking about it and he was acting like someone who had in fact been fired.
He signed my stuff and lo and behold I watch hem flip out on stage. I had no idea what was going on still don't.
You had no idea who he was but still wanted his autograph
Quoted from wolftownjeff:Just went down the line getting autographs. Yep, I wanted all of the autographs. Anything wrong with that friend?
Not at all. And now you know who he is
