Quoted from DanQverymuch:I just told you the solution: do weighting of the votes.
Stern and JJP just disclosed pin production totals to Jeff at TWiP. Jeff weighed the vote percentages versus the production numbers and has a new listing of winners in the various game categories. No need to go through all the individual categories, because after factoring in its low production number (mainly due to the lack of any pro model of the game) Elvira's House of Horrors swept all categories except Best Rules and Best Playfield Gameplay and Layout (which still went to JP, but at a much closer margin). Speculation is that once Lyman Sheats completes the code for EHoH it's rules will easily rival JP's.
Of course, none of this actually happened (we all know Stern will never release production figures). But I had to come up with some rationale as to why most of you don't seem to recognize just how good a game Elvira is. In truth, I voted with my wallet when I purchased an Elvira LE.
