He has videos on youtube relating to pinball. Usually you'll see him looking at newly released pinball pics and being confused aboot them.
I think he's buddies with the SDTM crew, at least I think that's where I first saw him.

Yeah, I wasn't sure if you were being facetious or not. He seems pretty well known in the community for how-to videos, general tips and views, really a good hands on approach in how he approaches and rebuilds games.
He's quite the diehard regarding rebuilds, even did a nice series of videos where he went indepth on how to safely clearcoat in a garage.
You should definitely give him a watch here or there. Recently he entirely restored a Getaway.

You're welcome! Given you definitely work on your games, I'd imagine you'd find some of his videos compelling.
This is more a discovery/hunt video, more so than a tech one, but it's still an interesting watch.
Nice trailer for the show! Looks like you've got some good host.
Before we get to TPF and the TWIPYs there are a few thoughts I want to share. I appreciate what pin2d has done with the show, putting this all together can't be easy. I had fun "campaigning" for my nomination and the award itself even thou I know with certainty I have no chance in winning. For me, this was just an excuse to make my "Sorry for Party Pinball" video and get some laughs out of (mostly) sarcastically desperately seeking validation by trying to get an award.
As far as I'm aware the TWIPYs have always been "A Celebration of the Hobby" not "An Actual Competition to Determine Your Value as a Person Who Does Pinball Stuff". This is a People's Choice style award, which given "A Celebration of the Hobby" seems to me to be the best way to do it since it involves the most people. If this was an actual competition a cabal of judges would be more appropriate, but it's not and I'm glad that it isn't.

Only if they take things way too seriously. Given all the new pinball streamers I might not even get nominated next year, I'll try to not cry myself to sleep at night.

It's a way to celebrate the hobby AND promote TWIP. Before there was nothing and now there's the TWIPYs, I don't see anyone else stepping up to put on an award show. Besides TWIP needs some promotion, all the people who use his work as a starting point for their content aren't giving him any recognition.

Seriously, let's all just have fun. I'm going to TPF and I'm going to clap for everybody (yes even Kaneda) because everyone involved is passionate about pinball and this is, after all, a celebration of the hobby.
Hello pinball world!!
First, I want to share my utmost support for the team at the Texas Pinball Festival in their decision to cancel TPF this year. Please join me in sharing appreciation for their countless hours of hard work to put on such a great show year after year - I’m already counting the days to TPF 2021.
In light of the cancellation of TPF, I want to give a quick update on the TWIPYs. What is the saying? “When life throws you a curveball, take it to opposite field?” Well, we've already blown past Plan B and Plan C this year. I have no idea if we’re on Plan D, E or F at this point, but I’m here to assure you that…. the TWIPY Pinball Awards ARE STILL ON!!
Barring any unforeseen changes, we plan on holding the TWIPYs on March 28th in the evening (as originally planned). The show will be live-streamed, and I’ll share more information as it becomes available.
Let’s be honest, there’s a lot of shit going on right now. COVID-19 will have an impact on all of us over the coming weeks and months. That includes many people and businesses in our international pinball family. That’s why we’re exploring ways for the TWIPYs to support vendors and others economically affected by the virus. Stay tuned.
At its heart, the TWIPYS is a celebration of a hobby we all love. We now have a great opportunity with the TWIPY awards show to provide some fun relief at a time when people's lives may be in a bit of disarray. Though we’re shifting gears to a new format, you’ll love our line up of presenters and be surprised by some of the winners this year - I guarantee it. We can’t wait to share it with you.
No matter what else is going on in the world, on March 28th, we'll all come together to CELEBRATE this hobby and have a fun evening. In the meantime, be healthy and take care of one another.

Yeah...technically I don't think the BK:SoR topper should have been qualified. Though...I did write it in, as I didn't realize that being released by 12/19 was a stipulation at the time. I'm not quite sure how it made the actual ballot. Having said that, it's the best topper ever in my opinion.
