4. Dragonette
5. World Fair

#52 2 years ago
Quoted from radium:

North Star
Joker poker
Abra ca dabra
Atlantis
Surf champ

For a brief moment yesterday I thought I was acquiring a working Surf Champ for $400. The guy came into my uncles diner trying to sell it before his move, but by the time I called his wife had already sold it. Bummer

Quoted from o-din:

I honestly don't need any more, but I'll list ones that might tempt me-
Thunderbird
Beat The Clock
8-Ball
Skyway
Fun House

You obviously mean the EM "Fun House".
Never have seen one.

Warning to coulrophobics: This game contains clowns!

2. Solids N' Stripes

Admit it. The loss in Austin was just eating away at you as you drove across Canada...

#56 2 years ago

That's a tough one. With about 60 EMs already I have most of what I want including the entire "Flipper" collection, but there are a few.

Atlantis
Mermaid
Daisy May
Mystic Marvel
And maybe my Worlds Fair back.

Yep. I was on the hunt for one for a while, but never saw one myself. Pinsider mopar has one that he posted a couple pics of. I also wouldn't mind getting a Niagara. It is a lovely machine.

#58 2 years ago

Abra Ca Dabra
Atlantis
Bank a Ball or Rack a Ball
300
Strikes and Spares

Don't you mean "and"?

#60 2 years ago
Quoted from singlezero:

noticing you prefer the 2 player versions too

Yep, EM collection so far is all two player. Quick Draw, Wild Life, Jungle Princess, Card Whiz and Surfer. I reckon back glasses look better with more art, consistent head height in the line up appeals and finally less score reels to rebuild.

#61 2 years ago
Quoted from balzofsteel:

That would make six.

#62 2 years ago
Quoted from o-din:

You're absolutely correct except for one small detail. "I didn't post any pics",
but I well meant to except this retaining wall that was holding up the deck
(that I had many hours into) needing to come down (the cores were loaded)
and be rebuild. Because of a hidden leak, ice was like hydrellics..
After a month of hard labor, got it jack hammered down and new up.
Still have the temporary stilts (3" thick wall pipe) helping holding the deck up
until I get the stamped concrete poured.
On a better note, since the weather had cleared up, after work I took some time
and juggled and moved some machines around and took pics of the Fun House
along with a few other machines that needed to be moved from that row..
I'll post them on the "EM" Show use your EM Pinball Machines.. (T)

I thought I had seen the side of the cab or something like that, but it was a while ago. I've seen it now though. What a cool looking game.

#67 2 years ago
Quoted from o-din:

The Head wasn't that far in, but I don't remember taking any pics of it,
but we have them now. .
I didn't know anything about a woodrail Fun House, nor was I particularly
into woodrails, but when I first saw it at a Collector's house (that later got to
know well), something about it I liked and later traded him a near mint Bally Monty
Carlo, (I also had an even better Odds and Evens at the time).
Once I get another glass for it, I plan on going through it.
One that I've never seen another before either..

Not really. Condition matters the most. Send me some pics.

I have finally figured out what my five would be - today only, may change tomorrow!

Zipper Flippers and Multi-Ball - Bally Nip-It or maybe Capersville Nip-It has sentimental value
Late Williams EM like Rancho, Big Deal, Hot Tip, Lucky Seven, Argosy, Wild Card, Space Mission - DC pops and slings, usually have great play with little playfield wear
Williams Doodle Bug - Sentimental value and, of course, the Doodle Bug feature and Pointy People to add to my Pointy People collection!
Williams Gulfstream - Because I like OXO so much and more Pointy People!
Bally Wizard! Theme, Flip Flags and sentimental value

Honorable Mentions - Big Valley, Joker Poker but prefer the SS version

#74 2 years ago

Well after responding to this I had a captain card hight hand on. My 5 most wanted . I had been following an add in Quebec for one for 900 but. Didn't want to take the 8 plus hour trip.

Anyways a listing came up for a pinnball for free and it had been posted for 7 mins I found his number on another of his ads. A high hand for free! Oh it's a mouse nest. And baad caab repaint but plastics good. Playfield good except common kick out hole scar and backglass perfect but a few scratches I to right of credit wheel . Schematics? Yes backdoor yes. I paid him 25 bucks for honouring my call and to boot it was 30 mins from my house.

Can't believe the karma now if anyone wants to start a thread of 5 Em's you most want to get rid of maybe I'd have better luck selling a few

#75 2 years ago

Running out of space in the collection, but if I come across these machines I would be tempted

1. North Star....................(Love this machine)
2. Snow Derby..................(Have Bristol Hills but prefer replay machine)
3. Spin Out or Road Race...(I'd like one car machine)
4. High Hand....................(Had a nice one and regret letting it go)
5. Big Brave.....................(Like the Native American theme and long target shots)

It would lead to a tough decision for what machine to break down and put away or sell.

Hi NicoVolta +
I am trying to buy the ones I loved to play in the "arcade times" somewhere in the 1970ies.
The three I do not (yet) have
Space Time , http://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=2262&picno=18849 (I was fascinated by that tunnel)
Little Joe , http://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=1460&picno=45807 (just a fun game)
See Saw , http://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=2091&picno=39907 (just a fun game)
(maybe some more Bally pins from this time)

I learned about in pinside - would like to have
Bon Voyage , http://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=343&picno=62166
Pit Stop , http://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=1806&picno=26273

I also would like to have the EM-Versions of (I do have the SS-Versions)
Joker Poker , http://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=5078&picno=37214
Sinbad , http://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=4673&picno=38777
Solar Ride , http://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=4769&picno=45600
(((I once started this topic: https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/add-ons-in-the-logic-of-pascal-janin-boards - I made the "Yes" vote --- unfortunately there is no demand on "EM-Logic in the Gottlieb-SS-Versions")))
Greetings Rolf

I'd love to find a great condition Fireball. Also, Doodle Bug, Joker Poker, Jacks Open, Abra Ca Dabra...others....

#79 2 years ago
Quoted from o-din:

Beat The Clock

Looks like I can scratch this one off the list of ones I don't need, but might be tempted if it came along as one is indeed coming my way.

Nobody listed Teacher's Pet ?? Interesting

Doesn't everybody already have one?

Well, aren't you the master repair man now?

LOL you know what I mean.

Gameplay was a bit too similar to the Gottlieb "completion for completion's sake" thing.

#86 2 years ago

I had 3 of them. I'd revisit it again. It was a good game. The completion part was never easy. Getting close was, which made you want to keep trying.

#87 2 years ago

Yahoo my first post!!!

Orbit-1st game I ever played as a 10 year old kid and loved it!
Fireball-I was there when it came out.
King Pin-You gotta like bowling.
Swinger-yes, some people don't like this one but it brings back when I was a kid.
Nip-It-played it next to the door in a bar/restaurant which they didn't like those kids coming in.

Big brave
Joker poker

I wish so too. Figure what you wanted for the Orbit. I did see one for $500.00, but a mouse had built a nest in it.

Good luck on the 4 million BC everybody is charging an arm and a leg for those.

I did see a Friendship 7 in Texas but it was in REALLY BAD shape a barn find if that tells you much.

You make the trip, I'd sell you this one for $450. Very nice cabinet, PF has minor wear here and there.

The only issue at the moment can't get 2 and 4 player game working proper, skips over them. Just got a wiring diagram from PBR for it and was going to take a crack at it again when I finished with 2-3 other machines in the shop.

Crazy money for 4MBC, EM's usually don't pull that sort of cake!

Isn't that what they call plaking on the playfield? If I could I would go $300.00 but the drive is way to far for me. Get board very easy even with cruise control.

Good luck with your search, I have weeks of labor into the machine and had to replace a LOT of missing stuff and do a lot of repairs.

$450 is low as I can go.
