Indeed.
Don't give up on it yet. New rubber, rebuilding all four flips, wax, and new coil sleeves in the slings and pops will make a big difference.
Then after the teardown is complete--and before you play your first game--read & learn the ruleset on the IPDB.
Changed my mind after doing all this: keeper.
